Bug: double vision Logo

Infuse (8.0.4) repaints a tv series logo with a horizontal shift, creating a double vision effect. To reproduce:

  • Go to an episode’s detailed view in the Watching list.
  • Push the Siri Remote ‘TV’ button to go to the Apple TV Desktop.
  • Re-enter Infuse. The logo is now distorted.

I can’t seem to replicate this here.

Are you using a media server like Emby, Jellyfin, or Plex - or is this a direct connection like SMB, NFS, WebDAV?

I’ve had this issue as well. I think it only happens when you’re on a movie/tv show details page, leave the app, and then come back to it, you get a double-vision of the logo.

  1. Go to a movies or TV show detail page where it displays the information about the movie/TV episode, fan art, logo, etc…
  2. Leave the Infuse app and load another AppleTV app
  3. Go back to the Infuse app
  4. The once-suspended Infuse app will display where you left off (the movie/TV episode details page) but the logo seemed to have been loaded twice in different positions (or the cached logo stayed in one position while the app loaded up the same logo but in a different position)

Hi James.

I use SMB. Leaving Infuse suspended and then re-entering should produce the effect.

If it can’t be fixed, it’s no biggie. Just a FYI.

Here is a recording of the double vision logo. Pretty sure this came with tvOS 18 or Infuse 8.

I’ve noticed this a couple of times, as well. Jellyfin direct mode from apple tv app.
