Skip intros and credits settings only work for intros and ignore credits. When set to “Autoskip (Instant)” or “Autoskip (Delay)”, credits are not skipped. When set to “On”, the “Skip Credits” button does not appear. Intros still skip or show the “Skip Intro” button as expected. Pressing “Next Episode” during credits skips the credits instead of going to the next episode. The issue started after the 8.4.2 update. Tested on iPad and Mac with the same result

I updated to 8.4.3 but the issue is still present. The bug only occurs with media that has timecodes in the IntroDB database — tested with Jellyfin and credits skipping works fine there.
Intro skipping continues to work correctly in all modes — the problem is isolated to credits. If I disable “Skip Credits & Intro” entirely, the “Next Episode” button works as expected and goes to the next episode.

Also noticed: when credits start, the “Skip Intro” button appears for a few frames before switching to “Next Episode”. This happens regardless of the option set in “Skip Intros & Credits”
I can confirm this is broken. I haven’t figured out the exact behavior, but the “skip credits” and “next episode” button now often disappears quickly/is unreliable. Additionally, I have noticed similar behavior with intro skipping.
If you are seeing this happen in 8.4.4 can you replicate the issue and send in a report from your device (and post the code here)?

Good news, this seems to be resolved now. I updated to 8.5 and credits-skipping is working correctly again.
