i noticed this bug probbably 3/4 years ago?

None and Shadowed = correct
Boredered and Both = incorret

notice there is weird dots between letters they are not connected when selecting Boredered and Both
Arabic letters should be connected

i prefer Bordered over Shadowed its easy to read on light scenes

this bug is on iOS + Apple TV

i hope it gets fixed on upcoming 5.2 release!

thanks

Sadly this is an issue with how iOS/tvOS renders borders around Arabic characters. Hopefully it’s something Apple improves in a future update.

Please solve it , many applications such as vlc etc, has implemented correctly
It not clear to watch the subtitle only with the shadow effect!
