I dont think DVDs use Java. I’m just asking for DVD menus, Blu ray I really don’t care for menus as I don’t use ISOs for Blu.
I would absolutely LOVE to have DVD menus. It’s the one biggest missing feature to me. That and grouping multidisk movies into one movie.

Yes, DVD menus with the option to play seamless as it is today. Some things I like the Menus, like TV shows, others like Movies I really want seamless unless I want to go to the extras.
The latest releases has emphasis on Plex, emby and jellyfin . I could careless about those as I use shares from a NAS, not a app running in the background doing who knows what. ISO’s shared is the reason I use Infuse.
DVD menus please, if Kodi can do it, Im sure Infuse can too.
I believe I saw an earlier post in this thread saying the MrMC ATV app supports DVD menus…
I will have to check that app out and see if that’s correct. I’d love to retire my Dune HD and have one less box

MrMC does play menus, but its broken with certain DVD’s. Some titles wont play till after a certain time with no menus, you have to finagle the interface to see whats playing at times. It has not been updated for a long time and I’d say at this point its a waste of money. It could be so much better if they updated the code.

To be honest, I’d be happy if at least Infuse got Titles and Chapters correct with ISO files. Half the time with older DVDs Infuse gets it wrong. So If I have skip configured to skip chapter (as opposed to skip ahead 30 seconds) skip will either skip to the next Movie or in the worse case, can’t even play the main title! Converting the ISO to MKV fixes this issue but I’ve already converted my entire DVD collection to ISO and ultimately, I think I’d rather have better ISO support and DVD menus.

The vast majority of my collection is made up of UHD Blu-ray / Blu-ray / DVD disc backups. Full menu support is one of my most wanted features from Infuse. It would make Infuse my be all and end all media player solution!

It seems like Infuse only cares about integration with Plex, Emby and all that other crap I don’t care about. If I wanted to use Plex, I’d use it and not Infuse. if I don’t see any actions on Menus for at least DVD ISO’s, I’m not renewing. Walmart is selling a new Pro android streamer with an ETH port, I could spend my money there and use Kodi.

I’ve been using FireCore for a while now, and it’s 2025. I’m writing to you again to ask for a feature that I’ve been wanting for a long time. I’d love to see Blu-ray menu support added to FireCore. From my perspective, Blu-ray (HD or UHD) should have an option to boot into the Menu or directly play the movie.
Another thing I’ve been wanting is playlist support that allows you to play the next main title when you’ve backed up the entire disc.

Agree and Menus for DVD, Kodi on other platforms can do it and MrMC on the Apple TV.
The only reason I dont use Plex is because of this and I might stop my SUB for FireCore if they dont implent this feature.

How can we get this priortized? What is needed from the community because I see so many people asking for this after reading through the different forums and tbh not as much convos for the requests on Upcoming Features (updated 4/22/25)

What’s the outlook like for Java based disc menus with tvOS 26?
Hello, same here for me.
I would love to have full support of blurray menu + DVD.
For me it would be THE function that made me buy a year / life subscription.
I’ve taken one month to try the dolby atmos feature, and I’m a bit disappointed that only works for Eac3 … So I’m not sure if I will continue the subscription.
For me the best solution is to read my files with the XBOX Series X, in that way I can read all DTS and ATMOS tracks.
And the other problem with BDMV folders that is difficult to choose the correct bonus scene or cut scene and “Tracks N° …” isn’t saying what is the content that we will launch.
So with the menu support we will know what we choose to watch.
