Better UI layout (list mode?) for long titles/names

Here’s what happens when I search for a TV show in my Infuse (running on Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen, connected to a Jellyfin instance):

The file names do contain the episode number (e.g. S01E03), but because of the way the UI is laid out, they are truncated. This makes it very annoying to find a particular episode.

What I’d really like to have is an option to enable list mode everywhere (right now that option doesn’t really seem to do much).

More generally, I care way more about seeing complete file names than I care about posters. Most of my stuff doesn’t even have posters, anyway, as shown in the picture. Posters may look pretty, but they are a terrible use of screen space IMHO when actively looking for something specific.

Seems like this problem is only really annoying when using Infuse as a Jellyfin client. When pointed to an SMB network share instead, the experience is much better because Search will return files grouped by show, and then within each show there is a proper list view with full file names shown.

So my advice to users with this problem is: use a network share, not Jellyfin.
