Best way to set up NAS file-structure

I am new to InFuse, and do not feel fully at home with the beste way to set up the media-file structure. Is it better to have everything in one shared folder on the NAS or should I get better overview if each movie had its own sub-folder?

Also I would like if folders holding several items, like BBC video series, could show Its own single image, and not a mix of 4 covers?

I get good help by using tinyMM, to find right metadata, but those older BBC items is found nowhere to “scrape”

Any help will be appreciated

Personally, for movies I have a main movie folder with sub directories for “A thru C”, D thru ", etc. If I have specific files for a certain movie like subtitles or special artwork I create a folder just for that movie and it’s associated files, otherwise the rest of the movies are not in their own folder.

As for TV shows, I have a master directory and inside sub directories like the movies, A thru D, E thru G, etc. Each show then has it’s own folder with seasons then episodes.

There are other options but this one has been the most bullet proof for me.

There’s a users guide that can help explain things here.

Here’s how I have my NAS set up.

Looks very neat.
So how does your library point? Just to the full shared Video folder or, like one pointing to Movies, and one to TV shows?… or?

Video is the share and then made Movie and TV Shows favorites and are selected in the library settings. That gives me the granularity I wanted to have a total library with the Infuse Library and then the separate favorites so I could dig around how ever I wanted.
