Hi there, ive just purchased an Apple TV 4 and im wanting to find out what would be the best way to store my movies/tvshows and stream. I dont really want to use my mac as a storage device and streaming. Ideally i would like Nas drive but my router is 4g wireless router and doesnt have ethernet ports. I was wondering if I could purchase a wifi drive to store and stream all of my media, but my question is would that work directly with my apple tv. Ideally I would just like to have a hard drive plugged in and when I switch on apple tv it will point straight to the hard drive for streaming and I can use infuse whenever I want without having to startup my computer. Any ideas what my best options would be, i dont really want to spend a lot of money on different drives to realise it isn’t going to work. Any help would be appreciated.
I simply plug my Hard Drive into the USB port in the router and then look for it under ‘shares’ in Infuse. Seems to work well…
