Hi,
I am using Media Player 0.9.4-161558 and I am having mixed results with Metadata fetching for movies.
I have looked through the FAQ and previous forum posts but could not find any useful info.
In particular I would like to know how to best rename files for movies.
For example with the list below see the results, I get, it’s pretty bad:
Bambi 1942 Walt Disney FRENCH Dvdrip Fr Xvid.avi
Result: No description and just a screenshot extracted from file
Cars.2.2011.PIXAR.FRENCH.BRRiP.XviD-FwD.avi

Toys.Story.2.1999.PIXAR.FRENCH.avi
Result: No description and just a screenshot extracted from file
So, as you can see I have tried to follow the following naming convention:
Movie.Name.#.Year.Production.FRENCH.BlaBla.avi but it doesn’t work.
What is the best way to name movies?
Is it better to use spaces or dots?
Is it better to include the year between brackets? or avoid year?
Is it better to remove blabla?
Optionally would there be a way to grab metadata in French? Does it mean the movie name would better be in French or stick to original english movie name?
Any help would be much appreciated.
