I was trying to jailbreak my aTV2, yesterday i used seas0npass to jailbreak 5.0.2 and everything seemed to work fine (if apple stopped signing 5.0.2 would the process have been aborted?) but when i plug it in to my computer and want to save my shsh the aTV2 shows up as a recovery device in tinyumbrella and when i try to kick it out of recovery it just “restarts” and come back to recovery.
Has anyone had this problem or any suggestions on what i should do? At this moment i dont have a tv to connect the aTV2 to (dead tv). I am kinda stressed about getting this done if apple is going to stop signing 5.0.2 thats why i started this process even without a working tv to connect to.
EDIT2: This is somewhat of a one man show atm. I have now removed the power supply unit from the aTV, it wil still connect to itunes as before so my suspicion still holds that the power supply is done for, can i and if so where can i buy a new power supply? there was nothing on ebay.
EDIT: the power cord is not broken, i plugged it into the charger for my computer and it works.
SO what if the aTV connects to itunes with the usb cable, but wont start (no light) when i connect it to a power socket, can the power transformator in the aTV be broken or can this be caused by a software error?
In order to save my shsh do i need the power cord and the usb cable plugged in to my atv or is the usb cable alone enough?
So i think i solved the issue with shsh by entering ECID manually, this is part of the log can anyone confirm that this is what i want? (im especially interested in 5.0.2, bottom one)

Thanks, i then guess this is the reason it shows up as recovery.
Then the problem is, where do i find a new power supply? or if possible how do i search the existing one for flaws, there are no apparent breaks or soldering issues wich can be seen with the naked eye
EDIT: I looked ad ifixit and it seems that there is the same power supply in the 2 and 3 generation, can anyone confirm this?
EDIT2: It was the power converter that was broken!
