ATV2 on 4.4.4 jailbreak, want to update to 5.3

Im currently on 4.4.4 Seas0nPass jailbreak. And would like to update to 5.3.

i have downloaded the current Seas0nPass for 5.3.
I have opened the Seas0nPass and the ATV2 is connected.
I get the following message “No device detected… please quit and reopen…”

Im pretty sure thats what I am suppose to do, and the ATV is not in DFU mode.

My only conclusions is that the Micro USB cable is not good enough? Don’t have another one handy to verify.

Or am I doing something wrong?

Try upgrading to latest firmware using iTunes before jailbreaking.

Upgrading beforehand helps with the jailbreak and you’ll rule out your USB cable or connection being a problem if you’re able to upgrade.
