Hi

Just a quick one, when I factory resore my ATV 1st gen, in About is says my version is ver 1.
If I upgrade this version to the latest will I still be able to install ATV Flash?

Will there be any additional steps I need to take?

After upgrading you will be running AppleTV 3.0.2. aTV Flash is compatible with this version.

Yes, after upgrading to the latest version your AppleTV menu will appear like the attached screenshot.

How do I take screenshots like the one you sent?

Does that look like the menus on your AppleTV, or are you running a different version?

You can check the version info through the Settings --> General --> About menu.

That screenshot is different, my menu system is on the right side f the screen like the image attached

That looks like AppleTV version 1.0 or 1.1.

I’d recommend the following.

  1. Perform a Factory Restore through the Settings --> General --> Reset Settings menu.
  2. Update the software to 3.0.2 through the Settings --> General --> Update Software menu.
  3. Re-install aTV Flash 4.3 using a USB flash drive.
