I’ve been trying to find out whether installing FireCore’s Media Player affects XBMC’s performance, and I keep getting conflicting reports. FireCore claims it fixed the previous incompatibility, but after installing Media Player my XBMC became noticeably (though not tremendously) slower. With full appreciation for FireCore’s attempts to resolve the issue, would anyone knowledgeable make the argument, with information besides just installing them both and saying it’s slower, that FireCore’s Media Player affects the performance of XBMC, either slightly or significantly? I’d really like to be able to install both for the sake of my less tech savvy housemates, but this hurdle is holding me up.
