ATV Flash with GreenpoisOn RC

Hi!

Is it possible to use ATV Flash with the permanent Jailbreak GreenpoisOn RC?

RC5 doesn't work for me. I restored, installed the jailbreak, but as far as i can see, no ssh connection is possible. Perhaps because it requires a user action (which can't be made on an AppleTV2). >

start the Loader application (green icon on the SpringBoard), and follow instructions to install Cydia

But this is only guessing.

@aliraja Doesn't look like GP (RC5) supports AppleTV...sorry.

yeah, i tried it.

i get the confirmation that my atv is jailbroken now from greenpoison. probably it is, but i'm not able to open an ssh connection, so it's useless.

Owners of the 2nd generation Apple TV on iOS 4.2.1 will soon be able to jailbreak their devices, untethered thanks to the upcoming GreenPois0n RC6. Joshua Hill of the Chronic Dev Team confirmed it earlier today.

It works right now.  Greenpoison release 6 is out and is damn nice.

Yes, I second that - It was a pretty easy set up and seems much much better than Seas0nPass. No need to tether.

I was able to get ATV Flash (Black) installed once GreenpoisOn was set up.

FireCore should switch and through their support behind Greenpois0n  - not tethered, easier to set up.

After you jailbreak it, you must use the NitoTV to download an SSH package.
