Nearly one week went by since the bucks disappeared and no - absolutely NO - solution for the problem. Neither any response to frequent support requests. What kind of business ist this?

I have just purchased your aTVflash Software and it just will not create a USB Flash drive.
I have the same problem as many in this thread. I am doing everything according to the instructions but when I start the aTV Flash installer it stays at
0% copying files.
I also downloaded the Java update but still no help.
Please tell me which information you need that I can get this thing to work!
Maybe also someone else has a good idea that helps.

Okay - I did contact you via Firecore - Video Player for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, and Vision because having the same problem (stated several times here) … And NOTHING happens for more than 5 days.

I hve contacted you now twice via email and still did not get any answer from you.
You have deducted the USD 50,- from my credit card account and since than I have not received
anything from you, not even an answer.
Is this how you treat your customers???
Do you have any timeframe when you will have solved the problem?
Do you have any alternative in the meanwhile?
For example: sending me a working USB-Stick !!
Is the problem (stated already several times) solved with version 3.2.3 ?

Seems you need not to expect any answer. I have submitted 4 requests to the support. No usable answer by today. Just one which was standard and could be read in the forum too (And I read it prior to submitting a support request).

This problem has been correlated to a conflict with another software application that is currently running on some systems. We’re trying to narrow it down, but have not found the culprit as of yet.

Found the problem: /Volumes/Patchstick-root already existed as a local directory owned by root. Just remove (or move) it and this will allow the aTV Flash Installer to create the mount under the appropriate name and copy the files. With the pre-existing directory in the way, aTV Flash will create “/Volumes/Patchstick-root 1” and it will sit-n-spin all day trying to write to the one owned by root.

It was from September 3, 2008, so whatever the current version was at the time. It might not have had anything to do with ATV Flash. I’ve build several Patchsticks on my own and they used the same name for the volume. It could have been created as a result of that. I found it while troubleshooting a problem building a patchstick manually. I wasn’t seeing any files in the Patchstick-root partition on the USB drive, so I started tracing the createpatchstick.sh script with (sh -x) and that eventually led to finding the local /Volumes/patchstick-root. With it removed, both ATV Flash and the manual script ran fine and I was able to create working patchsticks. I’m back to using yours again since I don’t want to have to maintain them.
I’m happy to report that the new NitoTV 0.5.6 with DVDPlayback.framework works like a champ. I can finally play DVDs (with menus!) on ATVT2! Had to fiddle with the TV resolution and NitoTV safe restore settings (it didn’t like 1080p right way, but got it working), and now I can play .iso DVD rips on Apple TV. It even works over wireless (NAS is in another room where the noise won’t interfere with the movie). I get about 17-20Mbps and that’s just enough. Picture and audio are smooth and clear. Response to remote control is instantaneous. I’m going to have to change my forum handle now.

Be sure not to have the USB stick installed. Then when you are in Finder, click the Go menu option and then Go to Folder… . From there type /Volumes in the dialogue box and it will take you to the Volumes folder. If you see a Patchstick volume there, either delete it or move it. Since the problem didn’t happen to me, this is my best guess on how to do what “nothappy” wrote about.
