I moved your post to a currently running thread with this issue. Note it’s marked as in -progress and should be remedied with the upcoming release of Infuse.

Playing the exact same file (GoT S01E01) gives me a black screen too. Audio and subtitles are fine, and the scrubber does still show thumbnails.
This is on the M1 MBP, Ventura 13.2.1 and Infuse pro 7.4.10. External HDR display over USB-C.
I had looked around prior to posting but came up empty, thanks for consolidating this NC_Bullseye!
