hi all ive given my mate a apple tv 2 when i had no problems just put my wi fi key in and away i went ,ive given it to my mate and heres his message
it will not fully load when trying to connect to the Internet. It worked when I tried it briefly over the weekend however when I switched it off then back on again last night it appears to find my wireless router however it will not load the initial main menu, all it does is constantly show the round circle timer but will not load the menu. When I turn off the router and turn the apple tv on it will load the main menu however it says that it is not connected to the Internet, which is correct as the router is off. If I then switch back on the router and go to settings, general, network it automatically finds my router and appears to connect as all the other network options below are displayed however when it tries to connect to the internet and reload the main menu it gets stuck again with the round circle timer displayed. Throughout all of this the white led light on the apple tv is constantly on can anyone tell me what hes doing wrong it worked on my internet i dont know what the hecks hes doing wrong any advice please,thanks
