ATV 2 FW 4.4.2 - whats the best way to JB to 4.4.4?

I just bought an ATV2 that has FW 4.4.2. Whats the best way to get it to 4.4.4 jailbroken?

You cannot. You need SHSH blobs for the iOS you are trying to flash and SHSH blobs are device/iOS dependent.

Thanks! Got it working now.

Question:

If i want to boot tethered using a different mac instead of the pc i used to do all the steps (obviously i had to use a PC since iFaith did not work for Mac), is it ok and if so what do i need to boot it to 4.4.2 from the Mac? I cant seem to be able to do it. I cannot “bring” my desktop closer to the Apple TV where i want it to be. Please help.

So i’ve had 4.4.2 tethered JB for a week now. Should I go to 5.0 tethered JB or should i stay where I am? Oh, can i do that though (going to 5.0 tethered JB)???

Never mind. I just did. I’m on 5.0 tethered JB with XBMC now. Working like a champ!!!
