8.1 and still not playing Atmos on HomePods. Why is this so hard? It did used to work? Or didn’t it? Is it only now we can see what formats are coming out that we know it’s not working? Please can this be fixed. We’ve been asking for a long time.

Why has my comment been removed? I’m guessing HomePods aren’t important to you? A lot of Apple Fans with their setups have it and I think it’s pretty shameful you’re ignoring the issue. I see 8.1.1 doesn’t have any fixes for it either. Can you please let us know you are actually looking in to it? Or am I right in saying it didn’t work before and now we can see the audio output we know it’s not working even though you said it was?

You 100% right. I don’t know why I should pay for this if it’s not have atmos. I have plex with the same functions and with many other things that works correctly. (Except atmos too). I’m waiting too long and still no update till 8.1.1 and I guess they don’t know how to fix it.

Still not fixed HomePod. Even multichannel audio sounds bad from infuse. It’s like the background music and sound effects are much louder than the dialogue. And it’s all so quiet compared to other apps and still no Atmos. Is this something you will actually fix as it used to be something you touted as infuse working with Spatial Audio. I’m guessing something has gone wrong in the coding as you told us it used to work fine.

Same problem here using AirPods 3 for Lossy Atmos tracks on 8.1.2. There is simply no sound at all when using Spatial Audio, disabling it works in the meantime.
