All other apps work on the Apple TV 4K and show Atmos. Even the same content when run through Stremio works. Is this a bug?

What version numbers of tvOS and Infuse?
Infuse 8.0.1 and tvOS 18
Installed tvOS 18.1 and this is still happening. Uninstalled infuse and reinstalled. Restarted Apple TV 4K (2022) and router. It’s only infuse with this issue so I can only assume it’s an issue in the latest update.
8.0.2 didn’t help. Anyone else having this issue?
Any acknowledgment of this? It’s definitely a HomePod incompatibility issue.
So I’ve put this on here. I’ve messaged support. Heard nothing. It was working fine. I imagine it’s just a small change that hasn’t been put in the new version. It would be nice to have some acknowledgment that this is something you’re looking into. My subscription is up in December so it would be nice if I couldn’t continue with you but not if you’ve removed features.
Are you able to send in a sample file you are seeing this issue with?
It’s literally any Atmos track I try. When I remove the HomePods and go straight to the tv Atmos shows.
I’m experiencing the same issue. Any updates here? Pretty disappointing
I reported it nearly a month ago. I’m guessing HomePods aren’t a priority for them. Even though it used to work fine.

As the title suggests, when playing a Dolby compatible file through my Apple TV onto my HomePods, there is no indication that Dolby Atmos is being used. The setting continues to say “Multi-Channel”. This has been occurring for the last number of updates.
This issue is super annoying, really hoping for a fix soon!
Playing content with Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Atmos soundtrack (which should work).
Checking if Dolby Atmos is active in Apple TV 4K by long pressing screen icon to open side menu and clicking sound.
It says multichannel, instead of Dolby Atmos.
Testing by playing something from Apple TV app that has the Dolby Atmos tag, and checking the side menu sound it says Dolby Atmos.
Hope that is clear.
They “acknowledged” it a little while ago but for some reason it was about Mac’s sending Atmos to HomePods. Now that’s been fixed they seem to have forgotten about this or just ignoring us. It seems they’ve turned off Spatial Audio option. I’ve sent them emails as well. I’ve just paid for another year, if there was a better video player I wouldn’t have but this used to work perfectly.
