Asking for Apple ID password at every Restore request

A recent Infuse update and/or the update to tvOS 26 has resulted in Infuse forcing me to enter my Apple ID password every time I’m forced to do a RESTORE to get my Pro subscription licensed. This NEVER used to happen. I would simply hit RESTORE and it would say ‘Thank you’ and done. Now I’m futzing with entering a password with every app update. Frustrating. Would like to see:

  • Fix the issue so I can easily RESTORE to Pro WITHOUT PASSWORD with each app update
  • Add some type of notification that an update has happened so I know to go to RESTORE. Often I find that I am using a non-Pro version of the app simply because I didn’t know there was an app update and don’t discover this until encountering non-Pro feature restrictions.

Does FIrecore know about this problem? I’ve searched but can’t find any reference to this issue.

Update: I thought this was only happening with Infuse updates but it appears that my Pro subscription is not sticking even after entering the password. It tells me THANK YOU and implies I have been registered, but when I go back to RESTORE it asks for my Apple ID again as if it isn’t licensed. Again, in the past I would just have to hit RESTORE on app updates and it would NOT require a password. Please help.

It almost sounds like something got corrupted on the update. Have you tried offloading the app? If that doesn’t help maybe delete the app and download it again from the app store?

I tried the redownload and that worked. Thanks!
