ArtWork for MovieSets / Collection

Hi, I would like to know which is the best way to have organized artwork for movie collections / MovieSets

I have into the .NFO files perfectly identified the Movieset, so in order to group all the movies from a movieset, the information is perfectly configured.

However, I was wondering what would be the best way to put Movieset Artwork to work in Infuse.

As I see, there are several possibilities:

  1. Have each movie set into a specific Folder, having a folder.jpg file inside that folder

\ Back to the Future Collection
-----\ folder.jpg
-----\ Back to the future I
------------\ Back to the future.mkv
------------\ Back to the future-poster.jpg
------------\ Back to the future-fanart.jpg
------------\ Back to the future.nfo
-----\ Back to the future II
------------\ etc
------------\ etc
-----\ Back to the future III
------------\ etc
------------\ etc

  1. Have each movie into their respective folder, and have a specific folder for all the Moviesets
\ Back to the future I
    ----\ Back to the future.mkv
    ----\ Back to the future-poster.jpg
    ----\ Back to the future-fanart.jpg
    ----\ Back to the future.nfo
\ Back to the future II
----\ Back to the future II.mkv
----\ Back to the future II-poster.jpg
----\ Back to the future II-fanart.jpg
----\ Back to the future II.nfo
    \ Moviesets
    ----\ Back to the future-Movieset.jpg
    ----\ Other Movie’s-Movieset.jpg

  2. Being able to tell infuse the movieset artwork into the folder of each specific movie
\ Back to the future I
    ----\ Back to the future.mkv
    ----\ Back to the future-poster.jpg
    ----\ Back to the future-fanart.jpg
    ----\ Back to the future.nfo
    ----\ Back to the future-movieset.jpg
\ Back to the future II
----\ Back to the future II.mkv
----\ Back to the future II-poster.jpg
----\ Back to the future II-fanart.jpg
----\ Back to the future II.nfo
    ----\ Back to the future-movieset.jpg

Can someone tell us which would be the best way to have the Moviesets Artwork in order to work with Infuse?

Thanks in advanced!

It’s not currently possible to set custom artwork for movie collections, but you can set custom artwork for folders, which will be available when browsing outside of the library.

To set a custom image for a particular folder, you can simply place an image named ‘folder.jpg’ inside the folder.

Thanks for your response James,

Do you plan to implement any improvement in this matter? Maybe it would be as easy a tell Infuse to look for a file inside Movie folder named as “Name_Collection-movieset.jpg”.

Many scrappers as TinyMediaManager allow you to scrap Movieset artwork and customize it, and It’s a pitty we can not enjoy this feature from the library.

Besides, Kodi is implementing this feature in the new versions / skins, so I guess it makes sense to go in this direction.

Please, let us know if you have any plans to improve Moviesets in Infuse.

Thanks in advanced.

Perhaps in the future, but we don’t have an ETA right now.

And Again… also this is what I need.
I created movieset images by myself in my own language… AND INFUSE IS NOT SUPPORTING THAT???

movieset-poster.jpg etc. etc.

OMG… really, what are you guys doing all day long?

I am up for license renewal… coming days. But I think I’ll pass this year.
