I used Seas0npass - latest version - and successfully JB my ATV2,…
but - only icons avail is Computers & Settings,…
where did Music, Netflix, Movies & TV Shows go?
I installed aTVFlash -and got access to “Maintenance” -
I installed Plex client manually - and got Plex up and running…
But still - all the “original” Apple apps are gone - and I can’t stream any Netflix…
pleae anyone?
I’ve noticed this happening when I’m are not connected to the internet. That’s where I would start looking first.
Internet is up and running - aTV have full access…
Is the “non-tethered” not working yet?
I have 3 atv2 running the latest untethered jb, and all are working great. Like I said, the only time I have seen it drop icons is when I lose internet. This will happen jb’n or not. Is yours hard wired or wireless?
hard wired,… and tried both using DHCP and manual config,… but - it does have access - can do installs from Manager - and I also ssh’d into the box to install Plex - and it pulled all it needed from the net…
so it must be something wither with the JB, or some config that was not done properly …
Have you entered the details of your Apple ID?
of course all info is entered…
have tried all. no use… gonna try some other JB and see if it makes any difference…

My brother had a similar problem. He fixed it by rebooting all his network hardware - in particular the Homeplug Ethernet-over-Power adapters, and then rebooting his ATV’s.
I had the same problem - here’s how you fix it:
The cause I think is due to Apple’s iTunes store believing you are in the wrong country. I override my network DNS settings with a US server address and voila! Back come all the icons including Netflix.
This is likely a coding issue via Firecore for their latest release - a bug - so will need to be addressed. But in the meantime try changing your DNS settings (and/or review your iTunes account “location”).
Jailbroke 3 times - and after 3rd time - everything came into place… weird - but .-… it works…
Now the only thing left to do - is to find a way to selective Remove all the icons I don’t use, and to be able to shuffle them around and place them where I want them…
