The subtitle brightness in HDR is a fantastic feature that I’ve been waiting for a long time. But there’s a problem: the brightness is also applied to embedded subtitles (that type of subtitle where we can’t change the font style or size) and this makes those subtitles very dark because embedded subtitles are usually already a dark white.
In other words, for example, 70% brightness in srt subtitles or subtitles with the same style as srt which, despite being part of the file, allow us to change the font, position, etc. makes the subtitles perfectly bright for HDR, but in embedded subtitles it makes them very dark.
Isn’t it possible, in a future update, to only apply HDR brightness to srt subtitles and identical embed subs?
