AppleTV Unresponsive to Remote

OK so this is kind of annoying. I was using the XBMC plugin and updating my library when everything froze. I tried to reset the ATV but it wasn’t working. After 5 minutes or so I unplugged the ATV for 10 seconds then replugged it in. It rebooted fine but when it got to the main screen I tried to use the remote but nothing worked. Whenever I press a button the light flashes on the ATV like it is receiving a signal but nothing is happening.

Ideas?

I’m up to date on all the software btw.

Nevermind…found that by holding the back arrow and the menu button for 10 seconds it unpaired the remote and fixed it.
