AppleTV 4K Infuse - Win11 Share

Dear Community,

i’m using Infuse, with a paid subscription, on AppleTV 4K (last Gen)
I recently upgraded to Windows 11 24H2 and my Windows Share do not work anymore.

My Windows 11 is setup with a PIN (6 digits) and connected to a Microsoft account. It is by default logged in on an admin account (which we’ll call User1). In Infuse, until now i was setting “User1” as Username and the long password (behind the PIN) as Password. And it worked.

I’ve read online a little, and apparently now Windows 11 only comes with a PIN and no long password behind.
So i decide to setup a new local account (User2) with its own password. I’ve adapted the permissions of my folder by adding this User2 in the list. and i checked that SMB is activated on both User1 and User2 account.
I setup Infuse with User2 credentials and check that SMB is set as Auto

But i can’t make it work with Infuse, wether with User1 or User2 => Infuse encountered an error

Any hint on what i should do?

Thank you

Anybody?
Thanks for the help

Sorry I don’t do windows but there are some steps for 11 in the users guide that may help.

Thanks for the reply
i’ve done those exact steps before, and it’s not working for me

meanwhile i tried with my macbook to connect to my main Win11 Share and it works perfectly (without logins as Guest and with logins as User1)

And the other way around, Infuse AppleTV can connect to the macbook perfectly, with my macOS credentials
Only the Infuse AppleTv with Win 11 Share do not work => Error

I found this guide which has a few steps you can try to see if this allows things to start working.

Hi James
I have to thank you for that!
It wasn’t a settings related issue but by going through the settings i found out i had a virtual network adapter activated (Hamachi)
I disabled it and now it works perfect

Thanks again!
