When using different Apple TV users on an Apple TV the infuse user switches between logins for my media server. This feels correct, but it keeps switching logins to the main login (associated with one of the tvOS users) every time. Can anyone help here? I have a kids profile that should be logged in to only show kids movies, but it feels like this multi user thing is broken.
Also, why can’t I just switch users or show users to pick from in infuse?
Is it relevant to that? Different Infuse profiles get mixed due to iCloud Sync
It could be. However, after investing further I noticed that the tvOS always picked my account when it turned off and back on again no matter what account it was on when it turned off. So, that’s frustrating but not an infuse problem.
Sounds like you may have “Choose Profile on Wake” turned off in the ATV settings.
I do. I turned it on and it did not change anything.
If it changed nothing then you may not have profiles set up correctly on the ATV.

Thanks. I think my Apple TV just needs a reboot. I added a kids account (non-iCloud) and it kept kicking me out. On another Apple TV the kids account appeared. So, I think I need to do more troubleshooting. The article does not address the behavior. Thank you for your help. I think the way accounts work on ATV is just not how I thought it would work. In theory it does ok. This is just important where I don’t want my kids to have access to the adult movies and it kept switching the ATV account to my account and thus infuse did what it was supposed to do.
