To prevent updates of the aTV firmware should this be set to “Activated” of Not Activated"?
This setting refers to whether updates are enabled or not. If you want to disable them, you should set this to Not Activated.
Will firecore push an xbmc frodo update for Apple TV 1, really don’t like openelec or is there an alternative of updating xbmc.
Frodo is not compatible with the ATV1 (or OS X 10.4 in general) so unfortunately XBMC 11.0 will be the last version available.
