Apple TV 2 started randomly turning off. Can I restore?

Hi all. My Apple TV 2 has recently started randomly restarting and then won’t play stuff anymore till I unplug and restart. But then it’ll just do it again after a while. It worked great for months though.

If I restore it will end up with the latest os yeah which hasn’t been jail broken.

So do I have any options here?

Are you using Remote App for iOS (Version 3.0)? That seems to be the cause of the frequent restarts for these people: Remote app 3.0 restarts aTV2 - 2nd gen Apple TV - Firecore
