FTP ist faster then SFTP, but more unsecure.
I tried both FTP and SFTP. They both worked without issue, but since I’m just streaming on my local network security isn’t an issue and I’d prefer not to have the devices dealing with the encryption overhead.
We believe we’ve tracked this issue down, and have a fix in QA as we speak.
Assuming no side effects are found, we are planning to include this in the 4.0.3 update.

Since the new release, i can’t read my avi files. It tells me: Sorry, that type of files (DIVX) is not supported yet.
I can read the files in my ipad but not in my apple tv.
This has been resolved in 4.0.3 which was submitted to Apple today.

how will we update? infuse is not in Apple TV settings > apps, where auto update can be selected?
Updates are done automatically on the Apple TV, but I believe you can update manually by browsing for Infuse in the App Store (or looking under your Purchases tab).

Dont trust the autmoatic update option on the atv4. Usually takes ages until updates are installed.
I always update manually the way james described.
