Since the recent updates I have had issues with AirPods losing audio on AppleTv either totally or audio really slowed down and distorting. They are fine with other apps and Infuse fine with different Bluetooth headphones. Running latest Infuse and TvOS.
I have exactly the same issue. Distortion followed by complete loss of sound and no issue in any other app
I have the exact same issue after the recent Apple TV update.
Steps to reproduce:
- Connect to Airpod Pro
- Play a video in Infuse Pro
- Fast forward a few times.
- Airpod Pro is still connected, but nothing comes through.
I encountered a similar issue over the weekend. Audio initially started fine, but slowly degraded to being terrible over the course of about 15-20 minutes. For me, pausing the video, disconnecting the AirPods, waiting a couple of minutes, reconnecting, then playing the media, seemed to work and fixed it for the remainder of the movie that I was watching.
Same issue here. Very easy to replicate, especially if you forward or rewind in a video a few times. Even tried resetting the apple TV completely and tried different Apple TVs. This is definitely a bug and hopefully ends up high on the priority list to fix. I have to resort to the older version of Infuse for now.
I’ve been experiencing the same issue as well. Audio on my AirPods with Apple TV starts fine but either distorts or slows down after a while. Like others have mentioned, pausing and reconnecting temporarily fixes it, but it’s frustrating to deal with during longer viewing sessions. I also noticed that this happens more frequently when skipping forward or backward in videos. Hoping for a fix soon—this seems to be a bug affecting multiple users.
It seems to only impact Airpods Pro (both 1 and 2). I can’t replicate this issue with my old non-pro Airpods.
no comment from Infuse on this yet? Also surprised others aren’t commenting on this massive and obvious issue
