Airpod Max, ATV4K and Atmos 7.1

Airpod Max (lightning version but running wireless), ATV4K (2019) Latest firmware for everything installed. Using Webdav/RealDebrid movies exclusively. LG CX 77” OLED tv

Does this setup support Atmos 7.1 to the headphones? is that the highest level of sound that I can get?

I’m playing Blade Runner 2049. I have 5 or 6 version of the movie. some say HDR and some some Dolby Vision. Some say TrueHD 7.1 and some say Dolby Digital 5.1

On 1 version: 77GB HEVC (4k DV), 54.4 Mbps, 23.976 fps. (Is this a really high level recording? Not sure what the HEVC difference is)

When I pull down from the top, under Audio, it displays TrueHD 7.1 it scrolls: TrueHD 7.1 (Default, BTM TrueHD Atmos).. what does the “BTM” TrueHD 7.1 mean?

And there are other movies where if I pull down from the top, it says TrueHD 7.1 but when it scross across it doesnt mention Atmos at all. Are they still in Atmos even though it doesnt say it?

So my overall question, is how do i pick the highest quality movie for this setup? Thx!

TrueHD Atmos is not supported by Infuse or tvOS. Those files will play as 7.1

If you want the Atmos overhead effects, you need to get a Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Atmos audio track. You can find these in the WEB-DL versions of the movies, or use some tools to convert TrueHD to Dolby Digital Plus: Help get (more) Dolby Atmos on Apple TV - #1294 by kristofferR
