I use Infuse with Emby, and I just noticed that shows I’ve added since Sunday are off by one day. And now refreshing a show in Infuse sets all episode air dates to the previous day. The air dates are all correct in Emby itself and show so on both a web browser and the Emby app for Apple TV. Does anybody else have the same issue?
Maybe check the system clock on server and player device?
System clocks are correct on all devices. My server is a Mac mini and my players are Apple TVs. Emby shows the correct dates on the Mac mini, Apple TVs, and my iPhone. Infuse shows the wrong dates on all three.
Maybe check the source used for metadata and see if their numbers have changed?
It appears to be related to the time shift from daylight savings ending and is device-specific. Setting the time on my server ahead one hour only fixes the dates in Infuse for macOS, and not for any Apple TV or iPhone. Likewise, changing the time on my Apple TV only fixes the air dates on that Apple TV. I can only assume, somehow, a 00:00 timestamp is being used by Infuse, and is then being set to -1 hour, making every show appear to have aired the previous day. Again, Emby shows the air dates as correct on the server itself and every player device, so it must be an Infuse issue.
I did some more digging, and took the show Wednesday as an example. All 8 episodes of Season 1 aired on November 23, 2022 when Daylight Savings was over. All 8 episodes of Season 2 aired during Daylight Savings on August 6th and September 3rd. Refreshing this show in Infuse, Season 1 stayed the same, but Season 2 changed to August 5th and September 2nd.
