I now have a new iPad Pro with the M5 chip and wanted to try out the “AI Enhancement” feature. However, I don’t see any difference in image quality at all. Could this be because I’m using Infuse in combination with Plex? Is the AI Enhancement option not yet supported in this setup? And is it planned to support this feature for Plex content in the future?
I believe that it only applies to certain resolutions, like <4K or something. Also, it won’t be a huge visual upgrade, almost just like a sharpening filter is applied. I would think it works with Plex content too, but I do not have that so I cannot confirm.
