Adding shares to library

Hi , just bought 5 Pro ver 5.8.6

I manages to setup a SMB share very easily.
How do i now

  1. add the content to the library, so that I can use the search function
    2)I do not seem to be able to play mp3 ?
    3)view a jpg file ?

For the library, there is a users guide that should help you get things set up here Library 101 – Firecore

As to the MP3 and jpg files, Infuse only plays video files. It will play videos with imbedded MP3 audio but not just audio files. Sorry.
