Hi is there anyway infuse can add genres section for movies and tv shows?
If you add a new video that has a new genre in the metadata it gathers from TMDB it will add that genre to your library list.
You can also add your own by adding a nfo or xml file for one of your movies.
I was referring to when using a share bud. So if i click on movies, theres no way of searching for a specific genre.
I’m not sure what you’re asking. You can see all of the movies in your share that have a specific genre by browsing in the Library under genres.

Even when using an emby share? Are you sure?
You said nothing about emby in your first post. Are you using direct mode or a Library mode?
If Library mode you should be able to.
I don’t use any servers like emby, jellyfin, or Plex since Infuse works so well for what I need.
