I connect iPad to Macbook
open Ipad, choose FILES
find Infuse and drag movies from MacBook to Infuse
the bar shows that movie is copying
in the Storage of Ipad I see that 7 GB were used, therefore the mmovie file is ON the iPad
BUT the Insure continue to show a virgin screen and it says “NO FILES”
What to do?
Suddenly it writes on iPad that there mediatheque is empty
Though when I see the application through Files on MacBook I see all files
What to do?
I don’t think you need to use the Files app, you download videos from within Infuse.
Actually, I always did like that:
- Movie file is loaded on MacBook
- I connect iPad to MacBook and when I see Ipad in Finder I choose “files”
- then I just drag the movie file from the MacBook to the Infuse
and it always worked
and once of a sudden - all files are gonee from Infuse
and It is EMPTY
Moreover I try to add new files and as per SSD storage I see that memory is used but still nothing
Again, I think you have to be in the Infuse app to bring files into it as per the users guide I posted above. Not dragging via finder.
will try and revert
thank you
Actually I do (and did) EXACTLY as it is written in the guide
Step 1. Open a new Finder window, and select the device you wish to add videos to from the sidebar.
SO I CHOOSE “IPAD”
Step 2. Select the Files tab.
I SELECT “FILES” and see the applications on my Ipad and among others I see INFUSE
Step 3. Drag any videos or folders you wish to transfer onto the Infuse item in the list.
I drag
and it always worked
but not anymore
I have checked the subscription - all is OK, I have my yearly subscription in order
Try restarting both devices and make sure Infuse is updated. If the issue persists, try resyncing or manually adding the movie in the app.
Try restarting both the iPad and Infuse app to refresh the file index and ensure the movie is properly recognized.

Today’s 8.1.3 update has improved scanning of local (synced) files which should resolve these issues.
