Add Native “Enhance Dialogue” Controls with Level Selection to Infuse Player

Hi Infuse Team,

I’d like to request direct access to Apple TV’s “Enhance Dialogue” controls from within Infuse’s playback interface.

On supported Apple TV 4K setups, the current system options include:

• Off
• Enhance — makes dialogue clearer with minimal impact on the original mix
• Enhance More — makes dialogue significantly more prominent
• Isolate — provides maximum vocal clarity by substantially reducing music, effects, and background elements (when Voice Isolation is enabled in Accessibility)

Although this system-level processing can apply to content played through Infuse, the player currently offers no visible indicator and no way to change the setting during playback. Users must exit the video and go into tvOS Settings (or use Siri) to check or adjust it, which breaks the viewing experience.

Please consider adding an “Enhance Dialogue” option directly to Infuse’s Audio menu during playback, with:

• A clear indicator showing the currently active level
• Quick selection between Off, Enhance, Enhance More, and Isolate (when available)
• Automatic handling based on Apple TV model, audio output, and content
• Option to remember the preferred level globally or per session

Ideally, Infuse would expose the native tvOS setting where the system API allows. If direct control isn’t possible, even showing the current status or providing an equivalent Infuse-side dialogue enhancement would be very helpful.

This would deliver the same convenient, on-the-fly adjustment that Prime Video offers with its Dialogue Boost feature. It would be especially valuable for content with quiet dialogue, loud soundtracks, nighttime viewing, and users with hearing accessibility needs.

This. I came here specifically to request integration of this feature. I use the feature myself because it’s useful, but more importantly, I have several elderly family members and a hard of hearing younger relative that would greatly benefit from integration of this feature into the Infuse player. At their ages it is not ideal to have them menu dive to enable or change these settings. I’ve been forced to use something else for their setups instead of using Infuse which outside of this setting is far easier for them to navigate. Please add this.
