Hi… i have ripped a lot of dvd’s and playing them in infuse but subtitles are too high up in the picture and i can only see one solution… to use vertical adjustment but for some reason infuse programmers have made a range of +7 to -2… and -2 is not enough to get subtitles at the bottom… Is there another way of adjusting the subtitles? and have the developers at Infuse thought of adding a range going down a couple more? to e.g. -5 or minus 7? There is no reason of having +7 as that would put subtitles in upper part of the film… It would be FANTASTIC if possible… I love infuse and hope their developers can make this feature work also…
I don’t quite understand the logic of the settings for the image based subtitle format’s (e.g. VobSub from DVDs and PGS from Blu-rays) vertical adjustments on the screen.
Even the lowest setting is higher than what I prefer, while I can’t understand why anyone would prefer to have the text in the middle of the screen.
I would like the adjustment possibilities to be expanded so that where -2 is the lowest today, you can have, for example, -3, -4 and -5.
When movies are in wide format, it would have been nice to have the subtitles all the way down on the black bars.
Probably not the most requested suggestion, but on the other hand not that difficult to implement?
I moved your post to a currently running suggestion requesting this feature.

So so agree with this. I fully agree. I have the same issues

Yeah, I have a similar problem, I’d like the subtitles to be on the letterbox black area when possible. There’s no good reason to have subtitles on top of content in such cases.
