sometimes, i will be watching a tv show and, for one reason or another (moseying away to do something in the house, falling asleep on the sofa, etc.), i won’t see the end of an episode while it continue playing. let’s call this episode S03E03. the next day, i may want to re-watch S03E02 to refresh myself, and continue watching/rewatching S03E03.
because S03E03 hadn’t finished playing, at the end of S03E02 i’ll be presented with a prompt with two options: “Resume Playing”, or “Start from Beginning”. if no selection is made, this prompt will remain on the tv indefinitely.
it would be nice to see a user-configurable default behavior (such as “start from beginning”) after a user-configurable timeout (such as one minute).
