I agree, a button to go to the next video is needed.
I like to watch some shows like Futurama using the random feature, sometimes it plays an episode I don’t feel like watching now and want to skip it, ie. play the next random episode.

I hope that when I play a TV series, I find that the current episode is not what I like, and I hope there is a button to skip the episode I am currently watching. That is, jump to the next episode of the current TV series. Or when I want to go back and watch the episode I watched before, I choose to skip the current episode and go back to the previous episode. This button for the previous episode and the next episode is extremely important to us!!!

Some TV shows have a really long end credits, so skipping to the next episode means we have to press back. Mark the episode as done and then manually move to the next episode.
Why not add a button or tab that skips to the next episode? It would appear towards the end of the episode when there are more episodes in the season.
It would mark the current episode as “watched” and skip immediately to the next one, allowing a proper binge run thrugh.

I’m using Fusion on an iPad, and having issues with shuffling and being able to see the playlist itself. I don’t see an actual control/gesture to show the current shuffled playlist. One thing I DO like about Plex’s player is the ability to look at the current playlist, and skip around. I’m pretty much forced to just keep grabbing the progress bar all the way to the right just to get to the next video. It’s really clunky.
A simple ‘Next’ button and a ‘Back’ button would solve this for moving to the next or previous title. As far as the playlist, I. don’t know how to show it, or select something else from it. I can always go back to the sorted playlist, but I prefer random when I just set it to play.
Any help or hints on how to accomplish these easier on an iPad?

When shuffling from the folder level, we need to be able to skip to the next video. I have a large number of music videos that I use like regular music. I mostly shuffle play them and would love to be able to skip songs that I am not in the mood for.

+1 for this! Is there somewhere we can give support to a feature suggestion? It’s crazy this isn’t a default in 2025! The icon is also incorrect as the ‘fast forward’ button icon is actually the symbol for ‘next episode/movie/video’ (a triangle with a line) as opposed to the actual fast forward icon (two connected triangles). Infuse could do better!

This button would be a nice addition to the AppleTV app as well which I use most of my time on Infuse. Senplayer and VidHub (both alternative AppleTV players) have a “Skip Media Button” on the Interface Display to go to the next video/media you have in a list, while you’ll currently watching video.
