Hi @james, great work as always, but one tiny thing I’m noticing is that it’s only working for movies, ie. there’s an actor who I know is in some movies and at least one tv show and none of the tv shows are displaying when I click on their image.
Hmmm, so searching from movies displays other movies and searching from TV shows displays other TV shows?
Does the cast list appear correctly if you open the TV show directly?
Can you try hitting the refresh button for these items in Infuse to see if this makes a difference?
Also, can you send in a quick report from your device and post the code here?
Not quite. If I’m in a tv show and click on an actor who I know has both movies and tv shows I only get the movies. It isn’t showing any of their tv shows.
Oddly enough if I search for an actor directly from the search field (this is all on the macOS version, I’ve yet to look at the iOS or tvOS versions today) and I know they have both movies and tv shows, I’m only seeing the tv shows, not the movies. So I click on their face, open a tv show, click on their face within the tv show, and now I only get movies. Very strange.

Thank you for addressing this. I have updated to 8.3.9 and refreshed metadata. Unfortunately, the issue persists. Is there anything I can do ?
Can you describe what you are seeing?
Can you try using the Clear All Metadata option in Infuse > Settings > General to see if this makes a difference?
It works now. I am so happy you’ve fixed this.
EDIT: it works on ATV and iOS. On Mac, I did what you said, Clear All Metada, and resynced, and it’s still not working. Right after the new sync, if i type the name of an actor, nothing shows up.
Thank you, it works on Apple TV after deleting the metadata and resync, I am so happy, this problem is solved.
Yes I confirm I have the latest version. This is weird.
EDIT: also on iOS, the problem seems to be present but that’s possibly for titles added AFTER the update. However the rest works. It’s difficult to check, I will report.
Okaye so it seems fixed on ATV, at least I haven’t run into issues yet (but have used it less). And I am definitely having the same issues as before with MacOs and iOS.
Clearing metadata won’t work, actually quite the opposite, it forgets the crew I had opened before so in a way it worsens the situation.
Could it be ? Am I the only one?
