access ATV via Mac

hi,

i have a question and couldn’t find an answer anywhere in the forum.

is it possible to access my atv with an externel hd with my mac without ssh…so i can access it like another computer in my network?

The AppleTV won't be accessible through the Finder, though the external drive can be accessed when connecting via FTP. When connected the external drive can be found in the 'Movies' folder on the AppleTV.
