7.3.5 Opus audio codec issue

My Apple TV downloaded of Infuse 7.3.5 overnight and all my videos with Opus audio codec no longer work (regardless of video codec and resolution). Screen goes black, white spinning thing appears in the centre and it returns to episode selection screen few seconds later. Videos with AAC audio stream do not have a problem

Just tested my Opus 2ch videos on iPhone Infuse 7.3.5 and they seem to work fine

Interesting. Installed Infuse on my phone and I still have the same problem. The only difference is that spinning while thingy seem to be present on iPhone for much longer than on Apple TV.

Interestingly enough, I am able to resume playback of videos (e.g. if I am half way though), but I cannot start them from the begining (if I mark them as unwatched and start playing).

I am using Jellyfin with Infuse plugin and Infuse on Apple TV.

Does downloading these from Jellyfin to Infuse (on iOS) and playing them locally make any difference?

Can you upload a sample file we could review here?

Hi James,

File did not play locally on my iPhone after downloading it from Jellyfin. I have uploaded the file to your dropbox.

We have a fix for this coming in 7.3.6.

If you’d like to test a beta early, drop me a PM and I can add you to TestFlight.

Thanks for such a quick fix. I will just wait for the next release and use AAC tracks for now.

Interested in testing this.
