Most likely will never happen which is fine but it would be nice if there was a added option that enabled a smooth motion effect that mimics 60fps

I don’t know why anyone would want that - but if you do, why not just turn on whatever frame interpolation option is available on your TV? There’s no need for Infuse to do it.
