I have been adding some movies that I previously had in 1080p but now have in 4K.
But when I add them to infuse, it still says 1080p just below the movie title.
I have tried to remove the movie, then refresh and then adding it again, but still to no avail.
I have tried to add the movie in a different movie app, and there it does show up as 4K?
The only thing that seems to get the right information is to completely remove the whole movie folder from the library and then adding it again? But to have to remove the whole movie folded, and then adding it again, then to wait to it have completed the search for metadata for 100+ films, seems to be a tad excessive?
Infuse will cache the specs for your files, instead of refetching them each time you view the video details.
If you have replaced your 1080p videos with 4K, but kept the same filenames this can result in the old specs being shown.
The easiest option here might to give the files a slightly different name when adding them (EG Frozen-4K.mkv) and deleting the 1080p versions. This would allow Infuse to pick up the correct specs right away.
Alternatively, you can use the Edit option in Infuse to refresh the metadata which will also update the specs.
