4K Movie on Apple TV (HD)

I have an apple tv 4k and an apple tv 4 HD. Can I watch a 4k movie on the normal apple tv, or do I have to own the movie 2 times in 4K and HD?

Infuse will play any file and your tv will down scale the resolution. The regular AppleTV will have issues processing high bitrate 4K content due to a slower processor. If this is in regards to iTunes content it’d be best to post this in the Apple forums.
