4k HDR 10bit 4:2:0 & 4:2:2 content?

Planning to buy the new iPad Pro once it hits the market, but wondering if Infuse is able to play 4k HDR 10bit 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 content on the current generation iPad Pro from the iPad’s internal storage?

Does it also support high bitrates? E.g. 400Mbit?

When using OneDrive, are there any limits or can the same playback be achieved as long as a very fast Wifi connection is available?

I asked this question before for the Apple TV, but not sure what the capability is of Infuse for IOS.

Thanks in advance!

Yup, Infuse plays these files without any issues on my iPad Pro 10.5.

There’s nothing this big except the jellyfish videos. Infuse plays them back, but on the 400Mbps Jellfish video I had very slight buffering 3 times when playing it locally. On wifi you’d run into buffer issues since generally most people won’t get that speed on wifi (I generally get around 390-420Mbps on my iPad Pro).

Depends on your wifi like you’re suggesting. I have 7 ‘Wi-Fi 5’ (what they’re calling 802.11ac now to make it easier for people) access points spread out throught my house so I’m always good

It plays everything I can play on my Apple TV. Hope this helps!

Top! Many thanks! I wasn’t 100% sure if the iPad Pro was as capable as the Apple TV. Does anyone know if the iPad Pro has a real 10bit display?

Several recent cameras, like the Fujifilm X-T3 I am planning to buy record 4k HEVC 10bit 4:2:0 in 400Mbit All-Intra, hence my question

Not sure, I can’t tell from test videos if it’s 10-bit or uses dithering.
