I have some movies in both 4K and 1080p version. Is there a way to make Infuse always choose the 4k version? I know it remembers after the first time but I would like an option that always go for the 4K version if there is one.
I saw a setting under Collections & Groups “Choose version” and set that to Highest quality. But I get asked that “Play version” everytime anyway.

Do you also have the “Smart Groups” toggle enabled? I don’t use Plex / Emby / Jellyfin with Infuse; but if you do, it’s possible that functionality isn’t supported. (Others will know and should swiftly correct the record if this is not the case).
Maybe I misunderstood you but…I don’t actually know but what does that have to do with Groups and collections? Seems strange that this isn’t the case. I use it with Plex.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to do this at this time, but there is a suggestion thread for this you can follow.
Version auto-selection requires Infuse recognize two (or more) different media files as two (or more) different versions of the same title — this is the “smart” part of “smart groups”.
Smart Grouping (as confirmed by @james above) is a feature Infuse does not yet support for content curated by Plex.
