longtime aTVFlash user, installed 4.1.4, used for a while yesterday, but after using boxee yesterday it locked up. on reboot i’m missing many vanilla aTV menu items, all of the Movies and TV menu items are gone except for My Movies and My TV Shows…

It seems like it may be a network issue. Does your AppleTV have a working internet connection? Do you happen to have the Hotspot Shield application installed?
Yeah, sometimes the aTV just needs to talk to the iTunes mothership. I had to get my computer booted and iTunes on, then rebooted the aTV. ? Whatevs… Works now, thanks!
