I find myself with An Apple TV2 on stock firmware 4.0 iOS 4.1.1

I want to jailbreak it UNTETHERED

None of the versions of Seas0npass that I can find go back further than :

4.2.1: AppleTV2,1_4.2.1_8C154_Restore.ipsw

Does any older version of Seas0npass go back any further?

In hindsight I did think it was very cheap.

i used snowbreeze to jailbreak mine.  I just can’t get atv flash black to work.  I had to use putty to install xbmc.

@ jamesleber - if you use Sn0wbreeze to jailbreak the ATV it adds NitoTV and you use that to install XBMC.

@ Carpenter940 : Thanks but perhaps I didn’t explain myself.  I have found the IPSW for the version I need but I cannot get Sn0wbreeze to make the patched IPSW (it stalls at patching root FS) and Seas0npass does not offer to download IPSW as old as I need … Ergo, I need a really old version of Seas0npass.

this is another link for downloading more IOS than the one mentioned earlier and it does even has the latest 5.3, don’t instal the 5.3 though!
